What does the program cost?

For students entering the Graduate School portion of the program in academic year 2021-2022, the tuition for completing the 4+1 program is $22,400 per semester (Fall and Spring). Typically, summer costs are about $1,500.

Students pay regular tuition rates in Emory College for their senior year. There are no additional fees for the graduate courses taken during the student’s senior year in Emory College.

Can I get money from Emory to help cover the costs?

Currently there are no Emory scholarships offered for the program.

Are there other sources of funding?

There are different ways to get support, and we encourage applicants to look into scholarships.  Loans are also available loans to help provide the funds for the CBTO 4+1 program.

The US government has loan programs for graduate education. One that is highly relevant to our students is the Graduate Direct PLUS loan.
